Bolanche is basically the only acceptable nightclub in Borlänge. It is on the second floor of First Hotel Brage, the first floor has restaurants. The facilities include a dancefloor (latest hits and some 'harder' techno) and a pub with live music (often Swedish music, really loud, bring earplugs). Open until 2 am, age limit 20 (can be higher for boys). Bolanche is affordable according to Swedish standards, but pricey compared to the pubs in Borlänge.
95 per cent of people in jeans, but still neatly dressed. NO leather or denim vests allowed (there is a sign prohibiting these items by the entrance). Why? Go figure! Must be something to do with gangs and bikers.
