They say it is the largest bear park in the world, I say it is a very nicely layed out bear park with too many hiding places for the bears.

Don't be fooled though, chances are very high you will actually see brown bears doing their normal thing. There are 5 (?) areas all of them HUGE ! If you wait around a bit, you must be able to spot bears. Wolves is another matter. Unless feeding time is there, there is no chance in hell you are going to find 2 wolves in an area the size of 10 soccer-fields.

BEWARE
If you have walking problems or are in a wheelchair, be warned: the park is called accesible, but is in fact not. The walkway goes up a hill that is way to steep for any walking problems !

Highlight of our sweden trip, a bear safari.
Very authentic experience. We followed a bear researcher for a couple of hours into wilderness and learned a lot a bout bears. Amazing! Definetly a must!
You see fresh tracks, can climb into a winter den and search for hairs that the bear has left in his nest. Most impressing is the german guide, just left his career in Germany and lives in this fantastic environment, chopping wood. Wow, a lifetime adventure.
