Favorite thing: Varbergs Kurort Hotel & Spa is situated by Apelviken in Varberg. By a sea that can be calm and tranquil or rough and fierce. It lies next to the sea and a great beach for those who like to swim naked!! I have been here once getting a Swedish Massage, with sauna and aroma. It was a great day but it was expensive...

Favorite thing: Well I'm not exactly the guy who likes to lie on the beach all day, but if you enjoy it, I recommend going here. There are quite warm temps in the summers and the temps in the water can go above 20C, and that is much for us Swedes!! :-) I enjoy walking at these beaches, but I'm always here before and after the tourists season, it's more calmer and harmonious then. Watch out for the crabs in early mornings and late nights, the always goes up on the beach in the summer and if you step on them, they'll step on you! There are also lots of jellyfish and seaweed.

Favorite thing: At The costal line around Varberg there are plenty of different species of birds. Eveywhere you go there are colourful birds above your gray hat. But watch out, you might end up with a white hat if walking around all day!

Favorite thing: Don't we all like it? Well in Varberg everyone eat it, it's famous for its many Ice Cream cabbins and you can pretty much find them everywhere. Some of the finest and most cosy is located at the small harbor at the city centre.

Favorite thing: There are lots of daily boat trips out to Fladen and Middelgrund, I can strongly recommend it! Even if you're not an angler, It's fun and great to spend a day out at sea. There are fishing gears for rent and food on the boat. You don't have to book in advance. The Prices is from 200SEK to 600SEK per day, depending how long time you want to be out. From 4-8 hours.

Favorite thing: There are lots of beaches around Varberg, as Apelviken, Jetterön, Träslövsläge and Kärradal etc.. But the best and unpoiled parts are at the many cliffs that surrounds the beaches. They are hard but they are beautiful. I strongly recommend you finding your own "Cliff" Be aware that nudists often takes a swim around the cliffs, there are also some special Nudist Baths around here. Don't stare too long! :-)
