Well you can't miss em. The Fortress has cannons all around it. The funniest more the most unbeleivable is that some of them is still sharp! On our national day we celebrate by fireing some of the cannons.
It's also used sometimes when they have big events in Varberg.
The cannons are aiming at each direction around the Fortress.

The Second Entrance is located at the east part of the fortress. It's smaller and this also leads directly to the roof were all the cannons is located if you take the first stair to the left when passing it.
There is also some dwelling houses to the right.

This is the main entrance, it's two entrances but this is the largest. This is the best preserved aswell. This is particulary large because they had to bring in horse and cart and all the deliveries that came to the Fortress. The door on the picture goes directly to an old food cellar.

If there ever was a must-see in Varberg, it's the fortress next to the ocean. It's built in the 13'th century, and is really beautiful.
Also the home of 'Bockstensmannen' - a man from the 13-14'th century, found in a swamp fully clothed.
