Mikado: Sushi in the outback!
The experts call it one of the best japanese restaurants in Sweden. So where can you find it, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö?No, restaurant Mikado is located in little village Brunflo, some 3 kilometres south-east of Östersund, along the main road.The chef has been serving here since the 1980's and through excellent reviews and word-to-mouth the restaurant seems to have flourished, despite its location. I have never actually been here, but driven past many times, some day I will visit. However, I know many who have tried the food, and they say it is great.The restaurant only accepts bookings, no "drop-in" guests, and you also need to order you courses in advance.
