    Lussekatter (Swedish Style Saffron Buns)

    Lussekatter, or lussebullar, are saffron buns that are eaten in December, around the Lucia day (13th of December). Very yummy with some glögg (hot red wine with raisins and almonds).

    Glimmingehus castle were built in 1499 by Jens Holgersen Ulvetann . It is open to the public today, guided sight seeing. You will find it east of Ystad in South Sweden.

    Swedish people are typical nordic: calm and withdrawn. It takes a while to get to know them and before they really talk to you. But: they are also very reliable and loyal.
