Mälaren Warnings Or Dangers

Watch out for moose of course!!! Hahaha, not for me, lol :-)

This is the road going to Sundbyholm and very close to my home. Recently they have spotted moose in this area, so they put up some warning signs for moose. I haven't seen any moose close to my home yet though, hahaha, but I am still hoping to spot one some day in the fields behind my house :-)

Moose are big animals and a warning for them is not for nothing. They are very long legs and how weird it may sound, that makes them extra dangerous. Hitting them will cause them to crash into the window of your car which can cause very serious accidents. The most danger is during the night. They are hard to see in the dark, and they can be a real danger on the road.

Besides the moose the deer are something to watch out for. There are many more of those, so the chances of spotting a deer is great. Spotting one on the road is quite common too. This week we had to break twice because a deer decided to cross the road unexpectedly.... eeks!
