If you are planning a trip to this region it is good to have your map before you travel here. A good website to buy your detailed maps of Sweden and the Fjällen area is:http://www.lantmateriet.se/

I bought all my maps here. Not only for the Fjällen, but also for other regions and trips in Sweden. The map I used for this region is map BD6 Abisko-Kebnekaise and BD8 Kebnekaise - Saltokuokta and costs 99,50 SEK (excl. shipping). The scale is 1:100.000. (alternatively: choose English language, top left side, then in the menu NATIONAL MAP SERIES, Fjällkartan, Fjällkartan 1:100.000 - folded). The stretch between Singi to Kaitumjaure is visible on Map BD8.

You can get an overview of all the "Fjäll" maps they sell here: Maps of the Swedish Fjällen

Alternatively you can buy the maps at the Mountain Huts that have a shop (which is approx. every other Mountain Hut). There is no shop at Singi, but there is one (amongst many more) at Kaitumjaure, Abisko and Kebnekaise.
