Almost there! Only 100 m left to walk but the snow was quite deep so it was a little tricky!
It was a bank of fog 200 m from the top so we didn't see much...

...in less than 5 minutes! But we didn't care about that because the wind was calm and it didn't rain so we kept on walking

I took some pictures along the trail up to the top, this pic is taken right after the Kebnekaise Station.
We're getting closer to the glacier

The sun glared down from a cloudy sky. The sight was beautiful.
The picture is taken almost in the middle of the night. The sun hits the top of Kebnekaise in a marvelous way.

Here is how you walk, as you see on the map, Nikkaloukta is to the left. And the road from Kiruna goes to Nikkaloukta.
Just follow the green path from Nikkaloukta to Kebnekaise Fjällstaion (21 km)
At the Station you can buy a map over Kebnekasie!
There is two roads to the top. If you are experienced and have a climb education you can go the East Path.
Otherwise choose the West Path. But you Have to be prepared that even in the west path you have to walk at the glacier. And into much snow!
If you are lazy you can take a boat over the lake Láddjujávri, it will save you plenty of time!
You vill save about 6 km of the 21 km road to the Station.
The boat leaves every 1.30 h and the price is about 12$

The weather changes quickly in without warning.
This is a picture at the top, before we reached it! 1 minute after this photo it started to rain and the fog came from nowhere...

Miscellaneous:
If you are planning a trip to this region it is good to have your map before you travel here. A good website to buy your detailed maps of Sweden and the Fjällen area is:http://www.lantmateriet.se/
I bought all my maps here. Not only for the Fjällen, but also for other regions and trips in Sweden. The map I used for this region is map BD6 Abisko-Kebnekaise and BD8 Kebnekaise - Saltokuokta and costs 99,50 SEK (excl. shipping). The scale is 1:100.000. (alternatively: choose English language, top left side, then in the menu NATIONAL MAP SERIES, Fjällkartan, Fjällkartan 1:100.000 - folded). The stretch between Kebnekaise and Tarfala is visible on Map BD6.
You can get an overview of all the "Fjäll" maps they sell here: Maps of the Swedish Fjällen
Alternatively you can buy the maps at the Mountain Huts that have a shop (which is approx. every other Mountain Hut). There is no shop in Tarfala, but there is in Kebnekaise.
