The outdoor serving/pub of Bacchus located in a nice enclosed garden. Teher's also an indoor bar where they have big screen TV during big games like the Euro 2004.
They serve pub food, hamburgers, sandwiches, sallads, etc. The food is not the best but you go to Trägården for the atmosphere and the enclosed garden.

Fräcka Frökens Frestelser, roughly translated as Miss Shameless Tempetations, is a very popluar coffeehouse. So poplular that it now exists two of them, one on Kungsgatan and one in the very centre of Norrköping.
They serve all kinds of coffee, tea, hot chocolate with pastries, cakes, pie, sandwishes and sallads.
Favorite Dish: Either a Latte with a homemade muffin or an expresso with cinnamon bun.

We didn´t actually find many other restaurants, but the food was o.k. to be a hamburger (I´m not big fan of them) and my husband even said it was great. I think he is more expert on hamburgers ;)
I searched this at net today, and it looks like they have closed the place. I wasn´t sure is it closed forever, or will it open soon again, so I´ll put it here anyway.
Service was very friendly-and there was lots of different beers. As someon ahs noticed, we are "beer-tasters" everywhere. Now we needed to wake up early, so we did only drink one bottle each.
Place looked fun, like 1950´s rock´roll style. Music was more like todays rock,at least at saturday-night.

The restaurant is in old cellarvalves from 18 th century. Very cozy. But it´s very very expensive here.
Favorite Dish: Tagliatelle with pesto, shrimps, crayfishtails and sliced parmesan
(Can be served as vegetarian alternative)

A really cozy restaurant, but the man who worked there is a joke, he was more interessted in a woman by the bar then us guests.
We orderd pork schnizel (filé Oscar) with french fries. When he came with the food it looked really good, but the meat was burned and dry and so much sauce on the meat.
Terrible service.

Located in the City museum with cellar vaults as well as tables next to the river restarant Knäppingen serves modern swedish cooking with international influences at lunch and á la carte. Their lunch is problably the best in Norrköping.
In the summer they arrange concerts together with Knickedick (www.knickedick.net) in the inner yard with modern swedish artists like Laleh, Timo Räisänen and Anna Ternheim.
Favorite Dish: Their lunchmenu is different every day, therefor I have no favourite dish but their homemade bread is delicious and their soups superb.

A Chinese restaurant that has a great lunch buffé as well as a weekend buffé, all you can eat, with 8 kinds of dishes, bread, sallad and coffee. The lunch buffé is about 70 crowns and the weekend buffé is 98 crowns.
Used to be one of our favourite restaurants where my friends and I meet when they are in town.
Nowadays there are several other chinese and thai restaurants nearby with similar or better meals and deals.

A japanese restaurant with really delicious food.
Serve a great, not very expensive lunch and is really nice at night when it's more quiet and relaxed than the restaurants around the city centre.
Favorite Dish: Sukiyaki where you cook thin slices of meat and vegetables at the table in a pot of japanese broth.

Great Italian (real Italian) restaurant. One of the restaurants in Sweden's Top 100 restaurant guide. Located next to the strömspark by the river the balcony offer a quit and spectacular view.

One of Norrköping's oldest and most beautiful restaurants, lies in the same building as both the pubs Stopet and Trädgården.
Has a beautiful main floor but having dinner by candle light down in the 18th century cellar vaults is recommended.
Serves Swedish lunch courses during the days and excellent á la carte later in the evening.
Favorite Dish: Their famous Plankstek, Classic Swedish beef with mashed potatoes, grilled tomato and béarnaise sauce served on a wooden plate.
