Ödeshög Travel Guide

I saw photos of the kloster (=abbey) at one VT-members page, and really wanted to visit it.
And it was worth of visiting, if you ask us. On the other hand -my sister for example would have not found it interesting, so it depends on your likings!

It was surpricingly hard to find! We just went there and knew in witch road it should be seen, and we drove much too long way, when we didn´t know it was just at the other end of the road,
So if you go here, drive first to Ödeshög and then start driving at the direction of Vadstena (road number 50 ), then you will easily see the signs. We drove from E4 to road 206 to Vadstena and then turned to Ödeshög -direction, and drove way too long in small roads. Of course small roads are nice looking, but we had a long drive for that day, so we would have choosed the other roads, if we would have known. (We don´t have GPS, and we don´t even want it, we are old-fashioned on this-in our three weeks trip we had very little problems this kind, and I love to read the map!)

BY THE WAY! IT´S FREE!! In Finland it realöly wouldn´t be! :D
