    Arild Chapel

The smallest little chapel I've come across in Sweden! Not always open but can be admired from the outside too of course. It is probably from the 16th century and built by fishermen who wanted somewhere to pray. Craftsmen, but not church builders, have built it. Only drowned persons found in Arild are buried in the little cemetary outside.

    Nimis and Arx

    Nimis

Seaside art! Or is it? These are the most controversial pieces of art in Sweden. Built by drift wood, Nimis was constructed without any permission and on private land. The landowner and the county council has fought the artist but so far, Nimis is still standing and has now got company in the shape of Arx (made of concrete). They are both standing on the shore and you have a steep climb from Himmelsgården cultural farm to reach them. Once there, you can climb around in both Nimis and Arx as they are huge, and then give your own verdict. Is this art? Is it cool? The artist and his followers have created their own "nation state" Ladonia in the area (see Local tips).

    Himmelsgården Historic Farm

A typical half timbered Skåne farm build around a yard. Today, it is used for cultural events and you would be especially lucky to be here for Midsummer, the great Swedish celebration. There is a permanent exhibition on farming through the centuries and it is a generally nice place to bring your family and see what life was like in the old days.
