Helsingborg has no own major airport but shares one with the nearby city Ängelholm. But the Helsingborg/Ängelholm airport (AGH) is less than an out away and SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) fly to Stockholm several times a day. It takes about 45 minutes. Othewise Copenhagen International Airport (CPH) and Malmoe Sturup (MMX) are in the region with many international flights. There used to be a Helicopter line between Helsingborg And Copenhagen International Airport but it has recently closed. Leave a Comment

Sundsbussarna ferries company by ginte The best was to go to Helsingborg from Denmark or from Helsingborg to Denmark is to took the Sundsbussarna ferry. At this point it's the shortest distance between these two Scandinavian countries. If you go by ferry on week days it will cost you about 50DKK both ways. But if you go on Sunday, it will cost you just 16 DKK both ways. Have you ever bought more cheaper ticket for the ferry?...;-) Ferries go every 30 minutes. Leave a Comment

While visiting Helsingborg you’ll feel like you’re in Italy. Because it’s really easy to find the stadium by car. From the moment you drive into Helsingborg, you’ll find signs with “Olympia” written on them. And, as in Italy, when you’re at the stadium, you’ll also find it impossible to find any parking places… Easiest way to avoid this is to come really early to the stadium, or going for the harbor (Hamnen in Swedish) instead. There might also be signs with “Knutpunkten”. From there you’ll be able to take the boat to Helsingör in Denmark, but there are also a lot of parking space. Costs a bit, but you’ll find a place anyway. From there it’s 10-15 minutes walk up the hill to the stadium. If you’re there really early you could also take the boat to Denmark and buy some cheap beer… “Knutpunkten” is also the train- and bus-station in Helsingborg. And, as written above, from there it’s just a short walk to the stadium. Leave a Comment Theme: Car/Motor HomeWebsite: www.sj.se (for trains)

nice view from the ferry to helsingborg. by cachaseiro helsingborg is connected with denmark by ferry. they run very frequent and because of that helsingborg meakes a good day trip if you are visiting copenhagen. just be aware that the ferry is a bit of a hang out of swedish alcoholics taking advantage of the da´nish beer that is a bit cheaper than the swedish. by lotharlerch when intending to go further north in Sweden it is the shortest way to take the frequent and convenient ferry from Helingör in Denmark. Helsingborg has excellent rail and road connections to bring you further All principal sights are in short walking distances from the ferry terminal and railway station. It is one and the same bueilding (the trains are underground) Leave a Comment Theme: Train

by eva_oberg If you're in Denmark, the closest way to Helsingborg is crossing the narrow sound by ferry. Ferries arrive and leave Helsingborg every 10-20 minutes. You can also go by hyudrofoil to Copenhagen - it takes only 50 minutes. Theme: Other

Arriving in and departing from Helsingborg is especially comfortable and easy because the ferry terminal and the main bus and railway station are located in just ONE building which is called 'Knutpunkten' - what a great idea! Of course, there are the regular 'shuttle'-like ferry connections to Helsingor(Denmark) that leave and arrive every 20 minutes, but also hovercraft boats to Copenhagen - a trip takes only 50 minutes, and you arrive directly in the heart of the Danish capital at Nyhavn. The ferries: There is three differnet ferry companies go from Helsingborg to the danish city Helsingör. It takes about 20 minutes and every fifth minute one of the boats are departing. Scandlines is the most popular and also the biggest. (http://www.Scandlines.se) It departs every 20 minutes during the days with three different boats. You take this from the central station Knutpunkten Sundsbussarna (The buses of the sound, http://www.sundbusserne.dk/) is the smallest boats and are only for passengers. It departs every 30 minutes and are slightly faster than the other two. You take this from a yellow building on the other side of the water in the center. HH-Ferries is the newest and chepeast of the three (http://www.hhferries.se/) but its ships are quite old and from helsingborg city it is a 10 minute walk to reach its terminal in the harbour. But recomended if using car and budget travelling. Sundbusserne is rather cute, but Scandlines is the most efficent for most travellers and they have a well stocked shops as well as an onboard restaurant. Leave a Comment Theme: Ship/Boat
