The cosy city centre
Just walk around the city centre, it's characterized by old, small houses and buildnings and small shops. But if you're going to buy beer or alcohol I really suggest that you leave the shopping for Denmark instead. Denmark is cheaper when it comes to Beer and Alcohol. But Sweden is cheaper average.

Like most major cities Helsingborg has a main city square with a large equestrian statue. I did not spend a lot of time in Helsingborg and was unable to research much about the statue. If you have read many of my other pages you will know how much I like these types of statues and now I have one more to add to my photographic collection.
Spring is near
Although it was still quite cold while we were in Helsingborg there were signs of spring all around us. There were beautiful flowers on the street which allowed you to realize that it really was April and spring was very near.
Playing in the street
Its obvious from the pictures that it was definately not tourist season. The streets were empty for the most part. Traffic was almost non existent while we there leaving my friend that I was traveling with time to play in the street. From our short time here we found this town to be a great place to walk and explore. However we arrived late in the day and were not allowed a lot of time to truely experience the town.
There are only few real...
There are only few real 'sights' in Helsingborg, but what makes the city so attractive is his magnificent location at the narrowest point of the Öresund and the broad-minded way in which it was built.
From the harbour promenade near the ferry terminal or from the Kärnan tower you can enjoy great views. A stroll through the old town with the majestic Stortorget (Main Square), the cosy pedestrian area Kullagatan and Norra Storgatan with its old buildings remaining from Danish times is as well not to be missed.
We take a walk first through the pedestrian shopping streets. we are early and it's Sept ...so pretty sleepy . I had hoped to see something to buy as a momentum of our trip here but didn't see anything...
I bet this place is hopping in the summer with tourists though

From the old Castle , we make our way to the town center. Stone steps lead us down ...so many lovely views from the brick archway. Below there is a also a small fresh water spring ....
When we get to the square we see a Charming statue named David ....and in some ways we can see why . there is plaque beneath which declares "David is back!) ..seems he was unwelcome fore awhile...maybe due to his lack of clothing....
