Just beyond the KNUTPUNKTEN (see TRANSPORTATION TIP) is Carl Milles seafaring monument, on a pillar, and beside this is a PLAQUE commemorating the landing here in 1810 of Marshal Bernadotte as CROWN PRINCE of SWEDEN. Later on his name was Karl XIV Johan.
Very worthy of a visit is the wonderful KäRNAN, a MEDIEVAL KEEP...

Helsingborg suffered a lot because of the many wars between SWEDEN AND DANMARK.

This splendid statue is located in Hamntorget besides the harbour. His creator the great swedish sculptor Carl Milles. At night it is beautifully illuminated and you can see from many places of the town.
