Olympia (in English “the Olympic stadium”) is one of the best and most modern stadiums in Sweden. It was rebuilt in 1995, and now takes 17 000 spectators. This season it has hardly never been sold out, but for the big games, and when Helsingborg is playing well, the crowds use to be really large.
Homesupporters stands at the short-side, while away-supporters have their own sector on the other side of the stadium.
The older tribune has one stage, while the new one (from 1995) has two different stages. For best seats for a neutral, you should get a ticket at this tribune.
Olympia has staged some games with the Swedish nationalteam, and it was also here that the final of the women European Championships was played in 1995 (Germany beat Sweden in the final).
Despite the name of the stadium it has never staged an Olympic event.
If you go too Helsingborg, you have to watch a game of soccer at Olympia,
the local team is Helsingborgs IF (HIF)
