Things to Do

Castle Park

Castle Park, Höör

Sjalen Says:  The oaks in Bosjökloster's park is not as old as the grand oak but nevertheless impressive and very nice to stroll under to get away from the crowds. There is a cattle grid in this part of the castle grounds as the park is often grazed by social donkey mares and their foals.

Bosjökloster Church

Bosjökloster Church, Höör

Sjalen Says:  At Bosjökloster, the church goes in the same style as the castle itself and looks like it could only be found in Scania or, naturally, Denmark.

The thousand-year-old Oak

Bosjökloster Castle

Bosjökloster Castle, Höör

Sjalen Says:  Bosjökloster is an integral part of Skåne history and a must if you are in the area and can get here (difficult without a car although it can be done). It is easy during the Scania Days (Skånedagarna) in August when shuttle buses leave from Höör station for free....

Skånes Djurpark Zoo

Skånes Djurpark Zoo, Höör

Sjalen Says:  To a Swede, it may not sound very exiting with a zoo full of "Nordic animals" but this one differs from the usual zoo in several ways. The animals have huge enclosures and are not in cages or small paddocks so they are happier than your average zoo animal. At the same time,...

Skånes Djurparks Camping Grottbyn: Cave hostel and good camping, Höör
