This belongs to one of the best and biggest toy shops I know in Sweden which is why I have to mention it. There aren't many things lacking - great place to take the children on a rainy day! They also sell incredibly cheap pick n' mix sweets.

ICA Malmborgs: Daily groceries
PetraTravels profile photo
PetraTravels 49 reviews

This is the place to buy your groceries if you live in central Lund. All the other supermarkets are too far away... Malmborgs has a decent selection of fresh fish and ready dishes from their own kitchen.

You can also get flowers, cosmetics, cleaning supplies and stationery. Open every day (even on Sat&Sun) from 8:00 to 22:00. Post office services are available Mon-Fri 8:00-20:00 and Sat&Sun 10:00-16:00.

If you are feeling lazy, you can even order the groceries in the Internet: http://online.nu/butiker/butik12010/index.cfm

What to buy: Good selection of almost everything, except alcoholic beverages (they are sold in Systembolaget round the corner).

What to pay: This ICA is quite expensive, as there is no competition in the area

Small, but enjoyable!

Lund is a nice old city in the south of Sweden with about 100000 inhabitants. It has an easy going atmosphere, there are lots of young people and it's nice to stroll around the centre for a while.
