Rent a pair of skates and have fun with your friends either in an atmospheric old square or in the Folkets Park (where you might have to have your own skates). The Lilla Torg rink is open December until well into the new year and the one in the park is at least open around the Winter wonderland time in late December.
Equipment: You can rent skates when you get there.
