Malmo does have its own tiny international airport, but it barely needs to exist. It serves only as a terminal for budget airlines avoiding the more convenient Kastrup airport 20 minutes across the Oresund in Copenhagen. Both Wizz Air and Ryan Air run several flights to Malmo Airport, with destinations such as Budapest, Katowice, Belgrade, Malaga and London. There are a few other airlines too, mostly with Swedish destinations.
Kastrup, in contrast to Malmo, is the busiest airport in Scandinavia, and one of the busiest in Europe. The Oresund trains runs past the airport, on its way from Copenhagen to Malmo. You can grab the train there and be in Malmo in about 20 minutes. Being as Malmo Airport is 30km outside the city and accessible only by bus, it actually takes longer to get to the local airport than the one in Denmark!
Malmo airport connects the city and surrounding area to several destinations both in Sweden and Europe. It handles both scheduled and holiday airlines so it's one of the larger Swedish regional airports.
The airport has coach connections to both Malmo and Copenhagen as well as taxis and car hire. The actual location of the airport is a bit remote but it doesn't take long to get to any of the nearby towns.

Also I would like to know why they have display cases of various beetles at the Airport..?
I found this rather amusing so I took a pic.

Easyjet fly to Copenhagen Kastrup airport, a train from here takes just 25 minutes to Malmo centre.
This is the airport if you want to go to Malmö. But of course the airport in Copenhagen is not far away either. Many people of the south of Seden and Copenhagen area use it.
From Sturup airport Flygbussarna run regular bus service to Malmo and Lund. 2005 price is 90 SEK each
