Per-Albin Line
The Per-Albin Line is a defense system all the way from the province of Halland just north of Scania, and around the Scanian coastline. All in all 500 kilometres long, this defense line was meant to guard against a possible German invasion during WWII. It got its name from the Prime Minister at the time, Malmö local Per-Albin Hansson, but is also known as the Skåne Line as most of it runs through Scania. The outer defense line consisted of the machine gun bunkers you can see in this picture and you can come across these in several places along the coast, even if several have succumbed to land erosion and become so damp that they've had to be destroyed.
