Whichever road you drive down on Österlen, every other farm seems to have a sign saying gallery, art ("konst") or handicraft. Stop at the ones you fancy and see if you find something. Personally, I like Ann-Margret's gallery in Baskemölla. She does oil paintings of animals for instance. There are of course loads and loads of water colourings of the local landscape...
Apart from paintings, you will find pottery and wooden sailing ships galore.
