Maybe it is a bit particular to a Swede but the Backafall song I mentioned in my intro has a finishing line along the lines of "all whilst the Moon keeps guard of Ven". I therefore became quite emotional when the Moon DID make an appearance in the countryside above me and with that orange glow you only see when it's rising (but no, I did not have a tripod so this pic is mostly for my own nostalgia even if you see a bit when clicking on it). This is what nights on Ven is about to me. It feels like you're left alone in the great outdoors by the sea, yet Copenhagen is visible in the morning haze that follows :)
But sure, I'm quite convinced that Turistgården, and especially Backafallsbyn can be quite lively in high season.
