Ven is known for its fields of durum wheat and this places makes things out of it. You can buy Ven pasta of several types, Ven bread or just plain Ven flour to bake something yourself with. The place opens already at 8.00 so you can go there for breakfast buns too if you have self catering accommodation.
What to buy: My own favourite is the great saffron biscuits...ooooh...:) Great for a cyclists picnic.
