UlrikaRu Says: Vendel Ales Stenar is one of the best restaurants in the Scanian region and in all it's fantastic. It's 10 minutes outside Ystad, just by the sea and has the most wonderful atmosphere. I love their barbecue, that they make in summer.
Sjalen Says: Trains leave frequently from Malmö and Simrishamn for Ystad. There are also direct trains from Copenhagen to match the Bornholm ferries.

Sjalen Says: Ystad is the perfect place for a stroll. It's too compact to do damage to your feet and yet with hundreds of lovely houses to see. I miss the Brewery; it's food and ambience. I also miss the feeling of being in a busy ferry port.
