Why dont you go to the library (Stadsbiblioteket) in Eskilstuna and borrow an umbrella????? They will help you with that. I have no idea what it costs, but probably nothing. I guess it can be worth it. perhaps you have to leave an identity card or something, when they lend you the umbrella.

Gamla Teatern is an old house and they play theatre here in the summers and have concerts here. One problem is that this theatre is not good for handicaped people. Rådhustorget 6 is the address. They have played theater here between 1830 until 1850, and then they started again 1989. during the summer they also have concerts here, exhibitions and markets, especially one at Christmas.

    I love happy hour.
    4 more images

Many restaurants in Eskilstuna have something called After Work, and it means that they have happy hour on beer and usually some other drinks. And the best thing is that most places give you free food when you drink there. After work times are usually from 17.00 to 20.00. It can change depending on the place. if you travel on a low budget, this is a perfect opportunity to have a beer and free food.

    Drinking beer on Djurgarden.

by Dizzyhead Updated Feb 1, 2010 4387 reviews

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

After a Saturday night it can look awful.

When it is summer time in Eskilstuna many people go to Djurgården and drink beer, play football or just relax in the sun. Lots of people walk their dogs in the area too. During the summer lots of people are here. They have barbeques and party here before they go to the night clubs. During day time family and friends play football and brännball (a Swedish way of baseball), spend time, walking, running, looking at other people and just enjoy the beautiful nature.

The picture is one of the bad thing what is the result of people having fun, and when they don care to clean up after themselves. BAD!
