On the hill there is a beautiful manor house and a great view over Lake Malaren, one of the four big lakes in Sweden, and there are lovely paths where you can have walks or sit on the bench and admire the view. There are several pavillions with Orient influence in them. i took this photo on Christmas Day 2003 morning. It had been snowing at night and everything was covered with pure white snow - beautiful.

On Christmas Day morning I got up early because I wnated to be the first and take photos of snow covered nature before there were any footprints on the ground. I was first!!!

As Lake Malaren is so close you can take long walks on its shores, go boating, swim or fish or just enjoy the peacefulness as I did.
