Known as The Swedish Versailles, Drottningholm Palace at Lovon
west of Stockholm worths a visit. When walking along its beautiful garden, you
should visit the Chinese Pavillion and the Guard's Tent.
Visit Drottningholm Palace (the residence of the Swedish Royal Family), and while you are there make sure you take a guided tour of the Palace Theatre...it is the definate highlight! We had a special tour since we were the only ones there that day and it was fabulous! It's amazing to know the stories behind these old places...
I really loved this palace, it was one of my favourites in all of the European cities we visited. It was a little way out of Stockholm but worth the trip.
At the time it costed 50 KR for adults but with the Stockholm card it is free...

Drottning street is the main shopping street in Stockholm.. It is a pedestranized street with many shops located each side.. A nice place to walk around in the old city..
