    Area: Southside

    Style: Bar, restaurant, DJ.
Stylishly decorated restaurant and bar. Usually quite crowded, local 30-somethings like to hang in the bar.

Crowd: Locals, trendy, usual bar crowd

Tip: If you want a seat you should dine or get there early. It isn't very big.

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Area: Southside

Style: Lounge, bar, restaurant, beer garden, club.
Stylish lounge and bar with a huge beer garden over-looking the water. Different clubs, different nights of the week.

Crowd: Mixed (depending on what club it is), trendy, club-goers, usual bar crowd.

Tip: Get there early to avoid a cue

Dress Code: No sneakers on certain club nights (personally, I wouldn't go on any of those clubs anyway. Everyone in Stockholm wears sneakers)

    Area: Southside

    Style: Restaurant, bar, outdoor seating.
This is the closest you'll get to Thailand in Stockholm. Bambu bars, palm trees, cricket noises, water falls... Excellent restaurant, but also a great place to have a few drinks before heading some place else. Nice, friendly atmosphere.

Crowd: Regulars, celebrites, usual bar crowd.

    Tip: Can't think of any

    Dress Code: Nope!

    Tip Top: DANCING QUEEN!

    by j_laurent Updated Jun 17, 2003

My friends and I decided to go to Tip Top on a Saturday night, and we had a wonderful time! We did not have wait in a long line to get in, there was room to breathe, dance, and walk around..to our surprise there was even a drag queen show!!! It was excellent, and we danced the night away...

Snovit/Clampers - Snovit is the restaurant/bar and Clampers is the club in the basement where bands play.
Clampers is a very small club in the basement so it was intimate. The DJ that night was amazing playing everything I liked. We saw a band called Pain who was a punk band from the 70's in Stockholm. This was their reunion show. Our friends Lars & Marie took us here & we had so much fun! They bought us Pain's CD and had all the band members sign it for us. It was so sweet of them. But besides the good time we had, it seemed like a cool place to hang out and have a beer and groove on the DJ.

Urban local bar (Kristallen) and beer hall (Pelikan)
The same entrance. Possibility to go back and forth.
Pelikan for talking, Kristallen for music. Very nice bartenders in Kristallen, friendly, local people, good music for lovers of un-ordinary electronic freaky stuff.

    Dress Code: Absolutely none.

This is a square on the Southside with lots of outdoor bars and restaurants. Usually completely packed on warm, sunny days.

    Great place for people watching.

This place was really fun too. Another 'hang-out' spot where the beer is much cheaper. The beer of the day was only 27 kroner.
