Hard Rock Cafe: fun with food

by iaint Written May 2, 2010

The ideal place to take a 10 year old for dinner when on holiday. Even Dad enjoyed it. That may have been something to do with the cocktails.

Anyway - burger heaven for little kids. It was busy even on a Monday night, but we were taken without a problem and service was fine.

Not where to go for haute cuisine, but you know what to expect (pretty much the same as the Edinburgh one!) and it's all part of the experience.

Favorite Dish: The burgers - something for everyone!

Or was it the bloody Mary?

    Food in Hard Rock

At the 16th of April 1985 the Hard Rock Cafe in Stockholm opened its doors. It's like what a HRC should look like: lots of photo's of celebrities on the walls, a TV-screen at every little corner of the place, and of course a lot of chrome and leather.

The dishes you can order are very American: burgers, chicken wings but also barbeque food and some Mexican dishes. I ordered a nice mixture of meat, chicken and fish, all fried. The cokes are big and the waitresses all wear sneakers.

The HRC in Stockholm is opened at the following hours:
    Winter
    Mo-Th 11.30 - 00.00
    Fr 11.30 - 03.00
    Sa 11.00 - 03.00
    Su 11.00 - 00.00

    Summer
    Mo-Th 11.30 - 01.00
    Fr 11.30 - 03.00
    Sa 11.00 - 03.00
    Su 11.00 - 01.00

In the mainstreet of Gamla Stan you can also visit the Hardrock Cafe Merchandise Shop, opened every day from 10:00 AM.

Hard Rock Cafe: Typical Hard Rock!

Really, whenever I see a Hard Rock in the place I'm visiting, I usually visit it. Simply because the food is always quite good and I like the relaxed setting.

Definitely a good place to go for lunch, as you won't require anything else to eat that afternoon! If you're not a big eater, I wouldn't suggest taking an appetizer, as they are BIG! The main dishes are big too! I ordered a 'Big Big Chicken Club Sandwich'.. well I could hardly finish it!

The waitresses are dressed extremely well in this Hard Rock, wearing mini mini-skirts, and as with most Swedish people, they're really good looking!

Favorite Dish: I had the Chicken Club and it was really tasty! Hard Rock is best for lunch, and I usually stick to a burger or a sandwich with a beer. Great stuff!
