Its a large cafe and my favorite in Stockholm. There are small newspaper shop and other interesting shops around. Its on Götgatan, one of the busiest shopping street. BB connection is good and free. There are many mothers with babies (not many fathers, I don't know why) reflecting the recent baby-boom in Sweden. Don't fall or pour hot coffee over babies- Watch out.
Favorite Dish: sand-witch and coffee

I I rember this place this is located on the street that leads to Gamla stand where there is a lot of shopping. They have a lot of specalist coffee as well as sell ice cream. It has the ambiance of a upscale cafe however the seating inside was very medicore chairs and table that were far from comfortable.
We were 4 adults and 2 kids.. so we tried a whole lot of things from Latte to ice cream and the cakes... the cakes had appearence appeal but tasted like the local specials at the "Stop and Shop" that was discounted on the last day for $2.99. The only difference was that at this cafe it was lot more expensive.
Favorite Dish: None avoid if possible, we got it to take a break from strolling in the cold.

This is a small kiosk on Skeppsholmen next to Skeppsholmenbridge where you can have a coffee, an icecream or some cake!
What's special about it? The location: you have a nice view on the old town, royal palace and there's always some nice reggea or soul music playing!

The place could be commonly found on any given street, usually next to some sort of entertainment center like the movies or a shopping mall but they serve your basic cup of coffee/tea/latte or whatever your preference with whatever your preference of muffin/cake/cookie/treat. It's supposed to be based off an "American" type cafe, so when you go or if you see it, remember its not going to be Swedish style food anywhere.
I could be wrong... but I think they might serve food like a salad or sandwich as well.. of course, nothing 5 star and a half hour to make.
Favorite Dish: I wasnt very impressed with it because its exactly like how we have Starbucks except of course, with nicer cups.
They have a much more FLAVORFUL selection of hot and cold drinks and perhaps even fancier choices.
Going to Sweden and drinking their tea and coffee has ruined coffee for me forever since you'll never get the same grade and quality or even vast selection as you would in America. And even though this place is considered as common a coffee shop as Starbucks, its still better then what we have.
Oh yea, they're muffins aren't stale either..

Actually it's not a restaurant, it's more like a coffee shop, but with great sandwiches and other stuff! Wayne's Coffee
Favorite Dish: The sandwiches or a great big american muffin!

WAYNE'S COFFEE. It's a cafe network, they have a few places around Stockholm and Finland.
My impression that it is meant for ordinary people popping in before, during or after office hours for a coffee and a newspaper. Very relaxed atmosphere, a place to watch every day life of the local people. I was there at about 9 in the morning, it was already open.
Favorite Dish: If all you need is just a cup of coffee/tea and a croissant, this is a place to go.
