Best way to get to Stockholm is to fly, but please pay attention to which airport you fly as there are 3, which are actually not located in Stockholm but in suburbs or further cities.

The main airport in Stockholm is Arlanda. There is a direct fast train that takes you from the airport to the central station in 20 minutes.
