In Gamla Stan, you'll find the oldest church of Stockholm, the Storkyrkan. Inside you can see the wooden carving of George and the Dragon. Also inside, you'll find Stockholm's oldest painting.

... the crowning church of the swedish kings ... with a very impressive sculpture of St. Georg slaying the dragon. It is partly made of elk antlers (!)... the dragon looks awesome.

The Storkyrkan is in the old town near the palace. The church is beautiful inside with historic carvings of St. George, etc.
The cathedral of Stockholm is the oldest church in the city and it houses the world famous sculpture of St George and the Dragon.
