This is a very pretty square just off the SW corner of Stortorget. Wonderful setting and mood. The waiters are a delight and the service great. I do however think the food needs a little inspiration it came across bland, the salad bar was not the most exciting either. Liseberg is an amusement park for children, young ones and older ones. It has something for everyone no matter what your interests are. It kffer some 35 different rides ad other attractions like culture and nice gardens.

There is a souvenir shop in Kiruna, where they sell kitschy Swedish trinkets, as well as Sami/Lappish crafts and items. My group and I bought all sorts of things while we were there. Things with moose on them, slippers, dolls, keychains, local craft, etc.

Since Kiruna is at such a high latitude, the days are very short in winter. If you're going in winter, be sure you get all your sightseeing and stuff done early in the afternoon before the sun sets, because it's going to get dark early and stay dark until at least mid-morning.

There are really only two ways to get to Abisko: by train or by car. Probably the easiest way is by train from Stockholm or Narvik. Veolia overnight trains run daily from Stockholm to Narvik, as well as an overnight train from Stockholm and Boden, with connections to Abisko and Narvik. If you have an intrest in old city sights I suggest you can visit Karlstads old cemetery if you plan to cross over the Old stone bridge (Östra bron) to Norrstrand. It was take in use in the year of 1800 and many prominent people from the area has their final rest here.

If you are on the lookout for unique things for your home, try QL inredning. They have everything from kitchenware to bathroom rugs to furniture...not the cheapest place to buy these things of course, but it's definitely contemporary design from Sweden and other countries. From very little to very much, depending on what you buy.
