Forsmark Wärdshus is situated in the historical part of Forsmark. They serve Swedish food of high quality and when I was there today’s lunch was Wallenbergare (made of ground veal, cream, eggs and bread crumbs), mashed potatoes, green peas and lingonberries, so that is what I chose to eat. It was a Saturday and the lunch was 120 SEK (May 2012). Bread was also served with the lunch. It was a very good meal.
There are 3 nucelarreactors in Forsmark.
Nuclear can be dangerous, but so far in this place nothing has happend.......it feels really safe.....
There are several very nice parks in this little village......a French "Orangerie" and also the English park with lots of small creeks, lakes, bridges to walk around....and maybe have a picnic
You can go on guided (walking and with bus) tours to learn more and see about how a nuclearpower station works - and what to do with the "garbage" from it.
Very intresing indeed - and it is for free (Takes about 1½ hour)
