The age reange for the dances will be roughly 18-25, since most students are in this span, but there will not be an age "limit".
Any way you like. For the dances people may choose more "hip" outfits but for the pub you could basically come in sweats if you wanted. For the dances, good looking jeans of the likes is enough, but of course you can get more dressed up if you want to.
(On the corner of the house is another night-spot, not connected to the nation. This is for a more grown up clientele and offersdrinks, food and in summer, an outdoor area.) You can play Bowling, have beers and drinks and snacks at the same time as there is a bar in the bowlinghall....
There is also connection to Svensson restaurant and in the evening it becomes a nightclub downstairs....so infact you have everything from Bowling to dancing....
As it is very popular, make an recervation to be sure to Bowl......the food in the restaurant is ok, not more...for better food i suggest just to cross the street and go to Trattoria Commedia

When it comes to nightlife Uppsala really sucks!!
Because there are something like 25000 students at the university, the night life in Uppsala is divided into two categories.. unistudents and nonstudents.. and they hardly ever mix!! which is rather boring!
There are no (according to me) good nightlife in Uppsala unless you're a student...

Going out in Uppsala is a lot easier if you get yourself a student guest ID. (If you can prove you are a student in your owncountry/hometown.)The ID:s cost a smaller amount of money, about 6 US$, and are issued at Övre Slottsgatan 7, tue-fri. For info call the Guest ID office at +4618-480 31 47.
The 13 different Nations offer a variety of nightlife, from very laidback pubs, to more dressy dances, but as a general rule, the style and atmosphere is quite relaxed. You will not be denied entry because of the way you look.

The clubs are all located in the center of town, around the central square and in the blocks surrounding it. There is also one a little further away, near the duck pond beneath the caslte. Since the clubs open and close all the time, change their names and their populrity status, I suggest you check with the locals in Uppsala when deciding where to go! If you are a student, make sure you always enjoy nightlife, which includes pub crawl (from one pub to another), dancing, dinner and parties in student housings.
It's just students, and you can always go to one of the student nations if you are student and have received the student nation card.

Here I have had my first contact with swedish nightlife...I have found it really nice!
You can eat some typical plate drinking a good beer,
international or local(that I have appreciate a lot....quite "sweet").
Warm the atmosphear and nice the "hard rock karaoke"that I enjoyed that evening...

Really nice irish pub!
Warm atmosphear also here(wood everywhere..and I like it) with the possibility to eat some good irish plate
and drink a(??;) ) beer;Kilkenny for me,but there are also an excellent Guinness...then you can find an interesting range of good swedish beer.
Irish barman that knows his work..live music on Sunday(rock ).
