 dave_21 Says:  Is the exchange for cars in the winters, if you're going somewhere, you're going with a snowcat. The larger roads are open but they don't lead you anywhere.It's when you're using a snowcat you're able to see something. This is quite expensive if you don't own one or know... 

 dave_21 Says:  I met a complete silence when I took the first steps outside for the day, it was around 05:00 in the morning and I was out with my snowcat early in the morning too get a chance to see the famous large Elk who lives in this area. It was April but it was still -20C this... 

 dave_21 Says:  The chance of taking a picture of a wild animal is low, but to spot them from a far distance is quite common. The area has Reineer, (Wild Reindeer, Caribou) Lynx, Elk, Wolverine, Bear and Weasel and many more.I was able to see tracks of Wolverine and Lynx at my last visit. 

 dave_21 Says:  But not until may, so if you're going here make sure it is between late June - Late august.If you're planing a hiking trip, be sure to bring rubber boots because the spring flood keeps on going until middle of July. 

 dave_21 Says:  Yes, the lakes above the treeline is fantastic!No mosquitoes, no other fishermans and an "own" lake for yourself!The only bad thing is the weather, it's often cold and rainy but the lakes are larded by Chars! One day we caught over 100 chars!! (3 persons)
