During the winter it's normally snow in Umeå but sometime it can come quite much snow at the same time.
I lived for three years in Umeå while studying, and this is the house where I lived, after a night when it came a lot of snow.

While strolling around I noticed several playgrounds in the centre. On one some kids played basketball, on an other was an artistic show of mountain bikers. Here you see several guyes playing a game I didn't understand. Two teams tried to threw a stick in the centre of a green fied. Perhaps the aim is it not to hit the wooden obstacles.
Finally I know the game. Thanks to our fellow VTer "El_Sueco". The game is called Kubb and here you can see how to play.

Umeå is the real name of the town, but most native of Umeå use the dialect form, Ume.
It's funny to find even an ambulance where the name is written Ume(å).
