In this build up area with old woodenbuildings there are several museums. You can go inside most of them.
For example ther is a preserved workers home from the 19th century and an old sauna, cafe, powerstation and an old house where you can buy local cheramics.
Well worth a visit!

This is one of Sweden's 12 world heritages!
It's considered one of the worlds leading industrymemories and was also one of the leading steelindustries in the world in the 18th and 19th century.
You can reach it with the train between Västerås and Fagersta and stop at the Ängelsberg station and walk to the north 1-2 km. The whole area is very quiet and very nice with old buildings and walkingpaths. It's not near any town, only the small beautifully located village Ängelsberg where you can have accomodation and eat but there's nothing more to do. But if you like fishing you have the big lake Åmänningen there!
