Sala Things to Do

A party of around 50 of us visited the old silvermine at Sala and it was a very interesting few hours, including Dinner 500 feet (150 m) below ground.

It's a good idea to wear strong shoes and warm clothing, but further clothing and boots are freely available (recommended) as the temperature was 2deg C. in most of the mine.

The Dinner was held in a heated tunnel, which has a bedroom that can also be hired out to spend a night (or two). Great for Honeymooners who don't want to be disturbed!

Very welcoming and friendly staff take good care of you during your visit and there are one or two surprizes down there as well!
