    Pick pockets and especially during summer and in the huge shopping mall 'Östra Nordstan'. Gangs from all over Europe have picked up that Swedes are innocent and naive and now use this knowledge with great skill in there.

    If you are a girl, you should´nt walk alone in an area called 'Rosenlund'. You will attract a lot of men driving in their cars.

    • Sometimes in the peak tourist season you will see gamblers in the street. Although it looks like easy money, these people are con men and have 'audience workers' in the crowd to fool you into parting with your money.
    Watch your wallet. Like any place handbags and wallets are stolen. Don't tempt theives, keep your money in a safe place. If you carry a rucksack, lock it with a small padlock, don't take any chances !

    PickaPockets, like in all cities where people move in larger groups. At summer time that is. In the winter the risk to loose your wallet is almost as slim as seeing the sun.
