Restaurants

Casablanca: Chinese food in Skene

Casablanca is one out of two restaurants in Skene, except for a couple of pizza places. The staff is really friendly and loves to chat if you're interested in that. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The surroundings aren't beautiful really, but the staff makes the visit worth it anyway.

Favorite Dish: Well I'm a vegetarian so I can only recommend the veggie menue (which is only one or two dishes. However I'm sure that the staff can make you something special if you ask nicely).

BRA Storlivs: Supermarket

This is one of the cheapest supermarkets in Skene with a large range of grocerys and products.

What to buy: BRA has a good range of cheeses which might be fun to try if you like cheese. The fruit and vegetables are also fresh and nice.

What to pay: Depends on what you're buying of course, but it's definitly cheaper than most supermarkets in the area.

2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

redsaga 72 reviews

The stream of Slottsån is a digression from the river of Viskan that runs through southern Västergötland and northern Halland. Many people come here to canoe, probably because it's surronded by beautful forests and yellow fields.

Equipment: Just bring your canoe - if you happen to have one with you - and a picnic bag. Otherwise you can rent gear from the Tourist Information.
