One of the best places for skiing !
cagriy Says: Point is that, Arosa is a small town with limited number of accomodation. However, there are 10s of slopes a skier can enjoy. Waiting on the queue for lifts ? No such thing at Arosa. If you like ski holidays don't skip Arosa.

barbskie Says: A lift to the top of Weisshorn(2653 m) is worth doing. Great area to unwind enjoying a panoramic views around or to start a downhill trail of your choice.A beautifully situated restaurant will serve you fine menus and desserts. The "Gifpel Bar" is only open in winter.
dabidc Says: The walk down through the wood and along side the river was pleasant and in spite of the so so day there were many hikers. All that was needed now was the train to come along and take me back to Arosa.
Short hike to the first station.
dabidc Says: The hike down from Arosa is quite short maybe 2 kms and the first station at Litziruti is also a hotel, so in case of delays you can always stop for a meal.Looks like Hotel Ramoz could be busy.
dabidc Says: The walk contunues down to the next station and one of the expected sights is a farm house alongside the path. Usually good for a photo and certianly the case on this day.
Sharing the path with the train. Who is to 0bject?
dabidc Says: One good thing about seeing the train is the assurance that there is transport back to Chur, always supposing there is another station and that it stops at that station.

Shibiru Says: The best way to get to Arosa is going to Chur (also a very nice city) and there taking the "Raetische Bahn" just infront of the mainstation...it's not so expensive and the view is worth!!!It's a very beautiful trip!
cagriy Says: Good thing about Arosa is there is one way to Arosa and it is the same way out. So people passing by are not hanging around. If people come to Arosa, they arrive for a purpose, possible for incredible slopes.
