lichinga Says: Walser is a community, sparsely inhabitating the Alps, mainly in the Western part. They speak a peculiar German-based language and they use to build very nice houses. Bosco Gurin hosts one of these Walser communities, not one of the largest, but quite important.

lichinga Says: Goos ski tracks here in Bosco Gurin, around the area that is called "Grossalp". On the other side of the mountain you would fall into Italian Formazza valley, crossing through the Guriner Furka (not so tall, around 2.000 metres).
Avalanches: a constant remembering.
lichinga Says: Bosco Gurin has been partialy destroyed by avalanches at least 4 times: this doesn't mean the people and the houses are not anymore there. Just, they keep care where they built them and try to gain from experience.
