Chateau d'Ouchy (I&V)
Chateau d'Ouchy – the Ouchy Castle, was erected in 1170 with the purpose to protect the port. The first rebuilding of the castle occurred in the 13th century. Then, between 1888 and 1893, it was almost completely rebuilt and transformed into a hotel, to respond the rapid development of tourism in the area. Present day neo-Gothic style edifice was designed by the architect Francis Isoz, and the dungeon tower of the medieval castle is the only conserved and modernized part of it. The most recent reparations of Chateau d'Ouchy took part in 2007.

Chateau d' Ouchy
The Castle of Ouchy, transformed into a hotel, was built in 1889. It was actually built over an old castle and only kept the tower. it's located in the middle of Ouchy, the lakeshore side neighborhood of Lausanne and also has a very nice terrace with a beautiful view.
