What I like when skiing is that you could easily free your mind and just enjoy the scenery...
Take a deep breath, forget your hard week and ride the Alps...
Choose your skiing/surfing rythm and keep in mind that it should be above all a pleasure.
Easy and convenient for a quick hot drink or/and light snack. Great sunny terrace with an exceptionnal view on the Becs de Bosson (3'148m asl). A good place for a quick stop and sunbathing... and, of course, don't forget your sunglasses and sun cream.
Skiing make me always thisrty... so a good excuse for a drink on the main restaurant of the Grimentz ski area. Of course I always enjoy a little taste of Denmark there, which remember me the good time I had in Copenhagen and especially the visit of the Karl's Mountain ;-) You could also enjoy a meal at the self-service, but try to go around 1 PM to avoid peak hour. By the way, usually it is not very cheap to eat on the altitude restaurant, so try to have a copious breakfast before your skiing day and have a light meal at lunch (sandwich) before to relax with a more solid dinner... You could also have a picnic from your backpack, but ask if you could stay on the terrace and if you are eating on the slopes keep the nature as clean as possible ;-)
Usually special of the day is a good value.
Favorite thing: We went to see this huge storagelake and afterwards we walked in the area almost a whole day, magnificent!
