Favorite thing:
Verbier skiing area is part of the 4 Vallées network (Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon). You will get enough room for your favourite sports... The 4 Vallées region offers 412 km of ski slopes and 92 different lifts (skilifts, chairlifts, gondolas and cablecars together).
Fondest memory:
Some memorable skiing marathon ;-)

Favorite thing: This is a scene from the "old verbier" street. There is an enormous sun dial across from the church where many weddings and baptisms (I've been told) happen. It was a wet and foggy day, but just imagine it when it is nice!!!
All around it now are condos and places for rent during the high season! Nice, but too rich for my blood!!!

Favorite thing: Verbier hosts a classical music festival in mid to end of July. It's way too sophisticated for my musical tastes - I'm more U2, Lenny Kravitz etc but if it's your thing there is a web site already set up for the 2005 festival.

Favorite thing: If you have the slightest bit of a sweet-tooth, prepare yourself for a little bit of rich chocolate....well as with this picture...maybe a BIG piece of chocolate. It's the perfect souvenier for people back home.

Favorite thing: This is a pic of the round-a-bout in the middle of the town. It is above the extreme sports store, in the bar that I cannot remember the name of!

Favorite thing: Verbier is close to Geneva which makes it a popular place . The Verbier village cannot compete with the Zermatt village.
