    Don't even think about it...

    Why extreme? Just look up the Bec des Ross peak, you will see some Kamikaze riding down the face avoiding or jumping rocks barriers... of course everything are under control... until the next turn ;-)

    Bec des Rosses playground: 3222m, 45°-55° slopes and 500m vertical drop.

    Next 11th edition: 17-19 March 2006 to see pro freeriders in fresh powder from the friendly village is set up at the Col des Gentianes (3000 m) just in front of the Bec des Rosses: the perfect place to admire the breathtaking runs of the freeriders.

    Spectacular scenery - amazing trails fast and flowy to super steep and technical - amazing guides gots us through it though in one piece. They also offer a six week residential course a Mountain bike institute in July.

    Equipment: Full Suss bike and big tyres - and spare brake pads!!

    Verbier region offer more than 200 km of marked routes in a beautiful Alpine scenery.

    Bicycles: no charge on cable-cars for the owners of a summer lift ticket

    Summer opening lifts:
    - Verbier - Les Ruinettes
    - Verbier - Tzoumaz
    - Le Châble - Verbier

    You could challenge also The Grand Raid Cristalp from Verbier to Grimentz (131 km) each year in mid-August.

    Green Verbier


    You could enjoy golfing in Verbier since 1969 with the opening of the Moulins course: 18 hole pitch and putt, par 54 (beginners accepted), right in the heart of the resort.

    Later, the Esserts course: 18 holes par 69, with driving and chipping range, practice greens, has been built in Verbier at an altitude of 1600 meters. This mountain course dominates the area with each hole provinding stunning views of the sourrounding mountain ranges, Combin, Rogneux and Mont-Blanc.

    Open from June to October

    Verbier skiing area is part of the 4 Vallées network (Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon). You will get enough room for your favourite sports... The 4 Vallées region offers 412 km of ski slopes and 92 different lifts (skilifts, chairlifts, gondolas and cablecars together).

    Verbier highlights are:
    - efficient and modern lifts (experience the confortable ride of the Funspace 2000p/h, the brand new Chaux Express 2005 mix of chairlifts and gondolas 2400p/h or a squized trip aboard the famous Jumbo cabin with 150p ;-)
    - Snow park availabe in La Chaux sector to be closer of the Sky...
    - Ride the Mont Fort and enjoy the breathtaking view from the summit, before the steep downhill ride take your breath 8-)
    - Enjoy the off-piste only on secured areas
    - Enjoy the view on the Bec des Rosses, the playground of the famous Xtreme contest , you should see to believe how it is crazy to ride this rocky snowy peak.
    - Escape yourself to the 4 Valleys ski area via Printze/Nendaz sector from Lac des Vaux or Gentianes/Mont-Fort sectors from kilometers on snowy tracks...
