    You will have the choice between 5 bars at the same address with differents athmospheres. Just make your choice by a little tour around...

    1st possibility : Brown Cow Snack Bar (21:00 - 2:00)
    Popular hang-out in Zermatt. Here you can enjoy a salad, a burger or some sandwiches. The Brown Cow is a good place to meet up for a relaxing aprés ski as well as the place to spend your day if the weather isn't so good.

    2nd possibility : Broken Bar Disco (22:00 - 3:30)
    Where you can dance to oldies and the latest hits on a barrel....

    3rd possibility : Village Dance Club (23.00 - 3.30)
    Dance to all the latest hits from international DJs from all over the world. .

    4th possibility : The Pink Live Music Bar (21:00 - 2:00)
    Enjoy live music from Pop to Gospel to Rock to Jazz. .

    5th possibility : Papa Caesar Lounge Bar (18:00-2:00)
    A cosy Lounge bar on the first floor to relax and enjoy a cocktail, a fine whiskey with a cigar or even a local glass of wine..

    Last possibility : Go to bed (till late)

    The Bar Club is attached to the Cinema in Zermatt. They had films in English and several films on the Matterhorn whilst we were here...never made it to any as it clashed with our evening meal in the hotel. Appparently the bar there is decorated in a sort of art deco style and has some unusual art work displayed on the walls...ah well next time we visit....

    If full moon night make you crazy or just in a fool mood, why not to plan a white night.

    Relax with a pleasant après ski athmospere and some "Gluhwein" (hot wine) glasses. Then wait the night by having a cheese fondue at the Kulm restaurant hotel after your ski day around the Gornergrat paradise.

    After all you would not leave this cosy place, but let's go downhill by skiing under the lights of the full Moon and enjoy these unique sensations...

    Warm clothes and ski equipement.

    The North Wall Bar is somewhat off the beaten path...it's a small bar that stays open late and services the service industry...

    The bar has good beers and good darts, lots of books about mountain climbing and lots of photos of the people who do it....

    A new and cosy bar (starting from December 2006) with a vinothek to enjoy your palate! Taste the fabulous Cornalin! The modern interior is designed by the local Heinz Julen.

    Live-music every evening during snow season! No entry fee charge as in all bars and clubs in Zermatt as usual!

    Hunger? On the first floor you will find the Alpine dining: Restaurant Heimberg - Valais kitchen in old timber building. Thirsty? Go back to the bar!

    Very popular for apres-ski sessions. Do not miss also the Schneewittchen nightclub downstairs if you are a nightbird.

    As the Papperla self description said:

Here you'll find Ski bunnys, Yetis, Racers, Ski Instructors and tons of party people doing there thing to old classics and Apres Ski music. It doesn't matter if you're outside at the "Snow Bar" or inside, our Papperla Pub team, Liveband and DJ make for a great atmosphere and loads of fun.
    Papperla Pub is also a destination point in the Summer. We have one of the largest selections of beer on tap in Zermatt, free Internet corner, free wireless and the casual Pub atmosphere which makes for a great meeting place for the young and old. "

    There are lively clubs in Zermatt, but if you want to relax and take a moment to unwind the Star Bar in the Hotel Zermattahoff is a pleasant retreat. I found this place suprisingly interesting and cozy. There was a gentleman there singing songs in all languages, when ever someone came in either French, German, Italian or English he would sing in your native tongue. It is a nice place to begin or end your evening a few toasty cocktails or cordials and you are either ready to rock or ready to sleep . . . you decide.
