To use highways you must purchase and display a tax disc (vignette) on your vehicle. The cost is EUR 40
The penalty for not displaying a disc is €80. They are sold at border crossings, fuel stations and post offices.

We had the nice idea of visiting the castles in a snowing day and the picture shows in what conditions we found the steps, I must admitt I filmed all my friends while going up and down the steps wishing someone to fall down and get a very funny video, but it didn't happen, I just wasted a lot of memory of the camera.
